Address Magic can automatically convert your GroupWise address book to Outlook without requiring your to create a ".NAB" file. However, extra steps are often required because of the need to switch between your GroupWise profile and your Outlook profile. To solve this problem, it is often necessary to use Address Magic Backup (AMI) as an intermediate format. To transfer from GroupWise to Outlook, use these steps:
Set your default profile is set to Novell Default Settings under Control Panel / Mail.
Use Address Magic to convert from GroupWise to Address Magic Backup (AMI).
Set your default profile to Outlook under Control Panel / Mail.
Run Address Magic again and convert from AMI to Outlook.
Set your default profile is set to Novell Default Settings under Control Panel / Mail.
Use Address Magic to convert from GroupWise to Address Magic Backup (AMI).
Set your default profile to Outlook under Control Panel / Mail.
Run Address Magic again and convert from AMI to Outlook.
