United States of America (Press Release) January 17, 2008 --
CLEVELAND, OH (January 17, 2008) Inetekk has recently announced that VereConference, a premier web conferencing system, has been upgraded to version 5.0. According to Thomas Prendergast, the upgrade to version 5.0 of VereConference “now allows the web conferencing system moderator to do screen casting. Screen casting is a means of sharing your computer screen with others, while doing a live presentation.”
VereConference is one of the premier web conferencing systems found on the Internet today. Designed and rebuilt by Thomas Prendergast and Mike Darling, CEO and president respectfully of Inetekk, in January of 2007, VereConference has established its place in the web conferencing marketplace. According to Inetekk, the new feature should help broaden VereConference’s market.
Butch Hamilton, head master distributor for VereConference, spoke during a training session and said, “screen casting will allow the moderator to do one live training, record the training session, place it on a web server, and let people come twenty-four hours, seven days a week to watch the presentation. Screen casting will decrease the number of hours a moderator will have to spend doing live trainings, and can spend more time working on other projects.”
Mr. Hamilton has been around the web conferencing industry since the inception of VereConference. He has headed up the marketing campaigns for VereConference since January 2007, and continues to promote VereConference through several SEO strategies. Hamilton admits that the “web conferencing industry is a tough market gain top spots on Google. Web conferencing is one of the toughest keyword phrases, I have come across. It seems that there is a lot of money being paid out by some of the higher end web conferencing systems available, to maintain their top positions.”
According to Inetekk, Hamilton, and several current users, screen casting should help VereConference reach a broader market of potential customers because it’s not only a web conferencing system where you have to do live presentations, but now it’s a presentation marketing tool, similar to Camtasia, a high end video presentation software. Users can now create and record presentations and either email them to customers and clients, or upload them to the web server and just send out a link.
