The actress best known for her role as “Donna” on the TV show, Murder She Wrote, has become the latest celebrity inducted into the Baby Boomer Diva Web of Fame.

The actress best known for her role as “Donna” on the TV show, Murder She Wrote, has become the latest celebrity inducted into the Baby Boomer Diva Web of Fame. Debbie Zipp joins fellow actresses Diane Keaton, Vanessa Williams and Nancy Cartwright, along with nearly 90 other women from the United States and Australia.
The idea to establish a Baby Boomer Diva Web of Fame is the brainchild of baby boomer expert and author Beverly Mahone. She says the idea to create the internet notoriety site came to her when she looked around and saw all of the talented women over 40. “Hollywood and the media want us to believe a woman has to be young and beautiful to be successful but that’s simply not true, contends Mahone. “By the time we reach 40-years-old, we are in the prime of our lives. We’ve overcome obstacles. We’re more focused.”
According to Mahone, Zipp was recommended by two existing members of the Diva Group who had established contact with her. “She came highly recommended,” says Mahone, “because she brings so much more to the table than her celebrity status.”
Debbie Zipp is currently enjoying her role as a Producer and has helped create an innovative company called In The Trenches Productions. The actress describes her company as one that strives to change the way the media views and utilizes women over 40 through its movies and advocacy arm.
Mahone says, “Debbie’s just the type of woman who makes up the Baby Boomer Diva Web of Fame. “We’re all women over 40 who are on the move and making a difference!”
